This round table will allow to approach the American cities through the prism of public-private production of urban spaces. The dimensions of this urban production, typical of the north-american model, counts residential spaces, scholar spaces and transportation systems. The round table will allow to evaluate the state of research on the links between public-private partnerships, the growth of inequalities, territorial relegation and exclusion logics, and the reform and opposition movementswhich emerge in response to this in American cities.
